The eventual aim behind discovery of drugs is to give a remedy for treating diseases and thereby boost the wellbeing and contentment of the entire humanity. The outcomes of biomedical research are transformed to therapeutics through Drug discovery. The traditional computing faces the problems like complex biological systems and massive datasets along with handling the complex calculations. Quantum Computing is an up-coming area in computational sciences which intends to solve complex problems. Machine Learning focuses on automatizing the system by identifying patterns in the past to achieve accurate results by applying the several ML algorithms. Thus combining ML with Quantum computing can work as a catalyst for the Drug Discovery process, ultimately lowering the drug cost. Present work emphases at the contribution of ML and Quantum Computing related to health care in drug development. Along with this, the paper aims to present how Quantum Machine learning speeds-up research processes and novel cures. QML can augment the predictions about the effectiveness of the disease and tackle challenges and improve data analysis in the arena of Biomedical Research.
