The Moderation Effect of Human Resources Aging on the Relationship Between Change Management and Strategic Entrepreneurship

The current research aims to identify the mediating role of human resource aging between change management and strategic entrepreneurship. A questionnaire was used as the main tool for collecting data. The research problem was the need for change and its adoption in order to develop human resources and achieve strategic leadership. The research used the descriptive analytical method, and a structural model was formulated and tested on a sample of Iraqi university professors by adopting a set of statistical tools such as correlation coefficients, regression, and structural modeling. The research reached a set of conclusions, the strategic entrepreneurship is considered a means of survival for organizations, while aging of human resources negatively affects strategic entrepreneurship, adopting change management will clearly reduce the negatives. Change management contributes to supporting capabilities to adapt to environmental challenges and improving performance and competitive capabilities.
