The dynamics of the travel and tourism sector have changed due to the rise of social media and the rise of digital influencers, particularly in South India's dynamic geography. The purpose of this article is to investigate the complex relationship that exists between social networks, well-known online personalities, and the travel preferences of people who are visiting the area's many attractions. Social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are becoming indispensable for organizing travel, sharing experiences, and inspiring people to travel. As a result, their influence on the tourism industry is becoming more and more apparent. This study aims to explore the complex ways that influencers and social media affect decision-making, engage audiences, and alter the fundamental perceptions of tourism in South India.
