Impact of Project Management on Foundation Construction Efficiency in Transportation Infrastructure Projects

This study aims to evaluate the impact of project management factors on the efficiency of foundation construction in transportation infrastructure projects. The scope of the research includes surveying aspects of project management such as time, cost, quality, risk, human resources, and other resources to determine their influence on construction efficiency. The study focuses on medium to large-scale transportation infrastructure projects, including various types such as roads, bridges, and other transportation facilities. The research methodology employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The qualitative method is conducted through surveys and expert interviews in the field of transportation project management. The quantitative method involves the analysis of empirical data from transportation infrastructure projects, using statistical models to explore the relationship between project management factors and the efficiency of foundation construction. The results indicate that time, cost, quality, risk, materials, and information management all have a significant impact on the efficiency of foundation construction. Among these, risk management is identified as the most important factor, while human resource management does not show a clear impact. The study’s conclusion emphasizes the crucial role of project management in enhancing the efficiency of foundation construction. Based on these findings, the research proposes management solutions such as tighter control of risk, cost, and time to ensure an efficient and sustainable construction process.
