Web performance is an essential aspect of the user experience, and upgrading it may have a significant influence on user engagement, retention, and overall business success in the technological era. The purpose of this study paper is to identify and analyze the important criteria that imply web performance by conducting a comprehensive review of existing research and analyzing optimization strategies. This study focuses on the tools and strategies used to boost website performance by studying several variables, such as load time, response time, and throughput. The findings illustrate the need to optimize coding, minimize latency, and utilize performance measurement tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, WebPageTest, GTmetrix, and Lighthouse. Despite the development in online performance optimization, additional research is needed to accommodate users’ preferences, the impact of future technologies, and the incorporation of artificial intelligence for personalized optimization.
