Digital technology has revolutionised entrepreneurship, giving Malaysian and Indonesian women new opportunities. With more people doing business online, internet thefts increase, especially when scammers target female entrepreneurs. This study examines Indonesia and Malaysia’s regulatory regimes for protecting female entrepreneurs from online fraud and suggests changes. The study uses qualitative methods to analyse administrative body data, reported cases, controlling statutes, and semi-structured interviews. According to this research, both nations have strong legal systems and support networks, but their efficacy differs. Indonesia and Malaysia can better protect female entrepreneurs from cyber fraud and promote a safer online marketplace by implementing targeted legislation, improving law enforcement, launching public education programmes, and strengthening global collaboration.
