The Role of Financial Literacy and Technology Adoption in the Sustainablity of MSMEs: Exploring the Mediating Effect of Government Support (Evidence from Indonesia and Malaysia Micro Small Medium Entities)
摘要
This study examines how financial literacy and technology adoption influence the sustainability of MSMEs in Indonesia and Malaysia, with a focus on government support as a mediator. This study uses Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS), to show that technology adoption not only significantly improves the company's sustainability but is also able to maintain its role in overcoming economic challenges, both in Indonesia and Thailand. Government support Do not significantly mediate both relationships Although the sample size and data quality are limited, findings from this study should be able to suggest that digital capabilities can play a more strategic role for MSMEs in emerging economies. The study provides important learnings for policy makers and business leaders trying to build sustainable enterprises resilient in the post-pandemic world, underlining technology adoption as a key enabler in such geographies.
