Additive technologies in Ukraine have been developing very intensively in the recent years. This has prompted scientists and manufacturers to develop powders of various metals and alloys for such technologies. One of such powders is the nickel-based alloy powder of the brand CrNi50VMoTiAlNb (EP648). The work has conducted a comparative analysis of powders from this alloy obtained using standard production technologies that currently exist in Ukraine. These are gas atomization of the melt and plasma spraying of a rotating workpiece. The properties of the powders have been established; it has been proposed to dry such material in more rational modes. The chemical composition of both materials has been studied. The compliance of the chemical composition with the requirements of the standard for the chemical composition of such a metal has been established. Studies of the appearance of powders of different production technologies have established the presence of satellites or harmful fractions. The use of better sieving methods to ensure size stability within the fraction has been proposed. Studies of the particle size distribution of powders within the fraction have established compliance with the normal law of distribution in powders. The dispersion of the content of chemical elements in the studied powder fraction depended on the technology of powder production. Recommendations are given for improving the dispersion indicators of the chemical composition of powders within the fraction. The research results obtained in the work and their analysis allow us to formulate the tasks and goals of further research into similar materials of similar chemical composition.
