Over 20% of QU’s budget is allocated to sustainability initiatives. Meanwhile, QU has taken proactive measures to equip students with knowledge and skills to effectively address sustainability challenges, resulting in a significant increase in sustainability-related courses from 11.5% in 2019 to 20.9% in 2022. The university is dedicated to green research, evident in an 82.7% increase in total research funds dedicated to sustainability in 2022 compared to 2019. QU recycles 100% of sewage water for plant and tree irrigation on its campus.
