Curriculum, Training, and Clinician Guide of Functional Analytic Psychotherapy
摘要
This chapter explores the evolution of Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) training and supervision, outlining the pathways clinicians follow to master FAP and achieve certification as therapists and trainers. It presents the specified repertoires within the curriculum, detailing how the trainings are designed to develop these skills. The chapter highlights the three levels of FAP training, each progressively emphasising self-awareness, therapeutic application, and supervisory skills. Additionally, it discusses the importance of cultural humility in FAP practice, the role of personal risk-taking in training, and the significance of supervision in reinforcing therapist growth.
