Whether termed cosmetogynecology or genitoplasty, the pursuit of genital enhancement has become increasingly prevalent. With rising demand, surgeons have developed a spectrum of innovative techniques aimed at optimizing both aesthetic and functional outcomes. Notably, recent direct-to-consumer marketing efforts by individual practitioners have amplified these modalities, often promoting the promise of enhanced sexual function. This chapter aims to succinctly review the various surgical techniques currently employed in this evolving field and to delineate best practices for the prevention and management of complications. In doing so, it seeks to provide clinicians with a balanced, evidence-based overview that emphasizes both patient-centered care and adherence to safe surgical practices.
