The problem with current security systems is that they do not consider human characteristics. This paper considered two human constraints: first, people are sluggish and inaccurate when comparing random sequences, and second, that people have difficulty memorizing complex PINs or passwords. We find two examples where these human variables compromise safety: Validation of root keys in public-key infrastructures, and user authentication. Hash visualization, a method that substitutes organized pictures for meaningless strings, is our strategy for bolstering the safety of these systems. This paper examined the requirements for such a system and proposed Chaotic Random Image system as the prototypical solution. Different chaotic maps of various dimensions are used to design new hash visualization technique to enhance the practical security of user authentication and root key validation.

摘要
