Anthropomorphism is to the tendency to attribute human characteristics, emotions, and intentions to nonhuman entities. Originally, this concept was discussed regarding living organisms such as animals and supernatural objects of faith. However, as the frequency of communication between humans and computers (and information technology in general, including robots and AI) has increased dramatically, anthropomorphism has become an important subject of research as an interface to improve the relationship between computers and humans and to facilitate communication. This study provides an overview of academic research on the topic of anthropomorphism through a systematic review and discusses the use of anthropomorphism research, especially ethical issues the field of human-computer interaction, specifically, AI, robot and business.
