Number Conservation
摘要
ReversibilityNumber conserving CA (NCCA) refers to a conservation property of a system, where the information in an initial configuration of the system is conserved during its evolution. Apart from such information conservation, the Number Conservation in cellular automata (CAs) is also studied. In a Number Conserving Cellular Automaton (NCCA), the sum of the states of the cells in an initial configuration is conserved during its evolution. Although the state set of a CA can be of different forms, the number conservation generally assumes the numeric states of a cellular automaton (CA). This chapter deals with the number conservation behavior of non-uniform CAs that primarily use ECA rules.
