ICT advancements significantly boost energy efficiency and reduce pollution but pose challenges in energy security and stability. This study examines the moderating role of ICT between green finance, clean energy, and ecological footprint, emphasizing an N-shaped relationship in developing countries. The cross-sectionally augmented autoregressive distributed lags (CS-ARDL) method is employed to analyze the data. The results indicate that ICT has a moderating effect on the relationship between green finance and clean energy towards ecological footprint. Besides, there is a N-shaped relationship between ICT and ecological footprint. Recommendations include facilitating financial support for ICT-integrated businesses, incorporating green technologies into policy frameworks, and fostering corporate social responsibility initiatives to enhance positive environmental behaviors.

摘要
