The increasing shift toward digital payments has highlighted the need to examine the factors influencing digital wallet adoption in emerging fintech markets, such as Oman. We have used an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to investigate the impact of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Trust and Security on users' behavioral intention to adopt digital wallets among Omani users. A quantitative approach is used to collect the data from 246 respondents through a structured questionnaire circulated among various age groups and business and salaried persons of Oman. The result of the Regression analysis shows that Trust and Security are the most significant predictors of behavioral intention, followed by PEOU. PU did not show a significant effect when other variables were controlled. The model explained 75% of the variance in behavioral intention. In our findings, we have noted the importance of enhancing user trust and system usability to support fintech adoption. Our study findings shows the practical information for developers, financial institutions, and policymakers to enhance digital wallet adoption within the digital payment ecosystem.
