Development of Static Calibration Device for Eddy Current Sensors

Eddy current sensors, as a non-contact detection device, are widely used in the production process of cigarette products. However, during the use of eddy current sensors, there may be significant errors or even errors in the indicated values due to aging or the influence of objective environment. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly perform static calibration of eddy current sensors based on their performance, and timely detect and deal with the problems existing in eddy current sensors. By analyzing the working principle and static characteristics of eddy current sensors, and based on the technical indicators and requirements stipulated in the national metrological verification regulations, the technical indicators of the calibration device are proposed, and the overall structure of the calibration device is designed. The induction disk, fixture, driving component, control system, etc. for static calibration of eddy current sensors are designed, and the design and installation of the static calibration device are completed. Completed the installation of multi-scale sensor fixtures and the installation and debugging of the drive control system. The development of the static calibration device for eddy current sensors was ultimately completed. Through experimental verification, the static calibration device for eddy current sensors can achieve a calibration stroke of 50 mm, with a position control accuracy of better than 5 μm, a position measurement accuracy of better than 3 μm, and a voltage measurement accuracy of better than 0.1%. The design and production of the static calibration device meet the requirements for use.
