Recently, using nanomaterials in treating marine wastewater has become a hot topic. In this paper, authors have investigated the practicality of nanoparticle-based technologies in wastewater treatment and examined the complicated systems at the connection points between nanoparticulate and wastewater. Authors have found that nanomaterial-based methods present some advantages, including improved removal efficiency of other contamination materials, lower treatment time, and fewer environmental concerns than traditional methods. Moreover, the nanomaterial's potential to specifically target toxins and assist in their removal is an up-and-coming method to mitigate the challenges of marine pollution. This study uses plasma from the arc discharge technique, which passes a high-voltage electric current on electrodes that treat wastewater, to treat it as part of modern science's effort to create treatment methods. This paper aims to improve recycled water quality and reduce marine pollution, thus achieving the global goal of providing access to clean water and safe sanitation for all, which is aligned with goals 6 and 14 of SDG.
