In this chapter, we elaborate on the Hanita Family of multifocal intraocular lenses (mfIOLs). The SeeLens mfIOL is an advanced multifocal intraocular lens (mfIOL) specifically designed for patients undergoing cataract surgery. This lens features an aspheric apodized diffractive design, which optimizes visual acuity at various distances by effectively distributing light between distant and near focal points. Specifically, the SeeLens mfIOL allocates approximately 65% of the incident light to distance vision and 35% to near vision when the pupil diameter is 3 mm, providing an addition of +3.00 diopters for near tasks.
