The construction industry is a vector of economic development in a country, therefore improving the performance of the process is a key objective. Within the construction life cycle, the conceptualization of technical collector networks plays a fundamental role that significantly affects the life cycle. This article presents a framework to support the integration of technical collector networks in the conceptual design of urban development project, focusing on the pre-investment and opportunity study (ideas and profile) phases. The customer client requirements conceptualization are described, including the context diagram for the processing of the customer requirements based-on IDEF0, and the key stages and activities involved. This approach allows to improve the design of technical collector networks, to coordinate their design with other project systems and to ensure coherence throughout the life cycle of the urbanization.
