Development of Educational 4.0 Environments Through the Dynamic Integration of Natural (Human) and Artificial Intelligences

The integration of principles from Smart Societies into education, highlighting the need for innovative approaches to the development of science and technology, is a significant challenge. Examining the impact of Industry 4.0 on university education, focusing on the new professional competencies required for both educators and students, raises important questions. This study emphasizes the crucial role of artificial intelligence (AI) in this transformation, suggesting the design of convergent alternatives between artificial and human intelligence, enhancing the development of computational, creative, and critical thinking skills. It underscores the importance of synergy between AI and human intelligence, detailing methods to refine prompts and evaluate the accuracy of responses in emerging formative environments. Recognizing the essential need for the roles of each intelligence and their mediating convergence to generate effective responses is complex, due to the nature of the outcome and the varied structures and logics necessary to adjust and refine the prompts. Recommendations to foster excellence in education and meet the complex social, economic, environmental, scientific, and technological demands of 21st-century modern societies address this issue from a scientific and ethical perspective.
