Effective Methodologies for Entrepreneurship Education Applied in Universities in the Global South
摘要
The creation of new businesses is crucial for economic and social development in the economies of the Global South, and entrepreneurship education at the university level has acquired a fundamental relevance in these regions. The application of entrepreneurship training methodologies has adapted towards more practical, experiential, and contextualized approaches, which are more effective in relating globalized knowledge to local realities, integrating theory and practice in a meaningful way, and opening channels of contact with the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem. The study explores the literature to identify effective methodologies for teaching entrepreneurship applied in universities in Global South countries and to determine their contribution to strengthening entrepreneurship and business creation. The evidence gathered from the Global South suggests that a pedagogical ecosystem that uses complementary methodologies and creates integrated and practical learning experiences, allows the acquisition of knowledge and skills in realistic contexts, making businesses more likely to survive.
