Revolutionizing Remote Patient Monitoring with Artificial Intelligence Infused Metaverse Technologies

Rapid advances in AI and metaverse technology offer prospects to turn remote patient monitoring (RPM) into a more immersive, effective, and customized healthcare delivery. This publication explores how AI-driven analytics and metaverse immersion might improve real-time monitoring, predictive healthcare, and patient involvement. The metaverse enables virtual settings for engaging consultations, rehabilitation, and health education, while artificial intelligence can analyze massive volumes of patient data, identify early signs of health deterioration, and design individualized treatment programs. These technologies may enhance patient-provider relations, lower healthcare costs, and expand treatment to disadvantaged and underserved areas. To maximize AI-integrated metaverse solutions in healthcare, data privacy, security, equality, and technology accessibility must be addressed. This study reviews previous research, examines AI’s function in RPM, and proposes AI and metaverse application development in RPM to influence digital health innovation.
