Exploring Quantum Simulators for Industrial Automation: A Case Study

Using the ideas of quantum computing, Quantum Machine Learning (QML) is becoming a game-changer in industrial automation, improving pattern detection, optimization, and decision-making. The integration of QML in industrial contexts is examined in this chapter, with a particular emphasis on quantum simulators as a key technological advancement. Quantum simulators, which bridge the gap between classical and quantum computing, offer a controlled setting for testing and putting QML algorithms into practice, facilitating improved defect detection, process automation, and resource allocation. This article highlights the main advantages, difficulties, and potential directions of quantum simulators used in industrial automation, such as supply chain logistics and manufacturing, through a case-based examination.
