The Base Soils Strengthening by Means of an Anchor Pile with a Widener
摘要
The improvement of structural and technological solutions for the installation of an anchor pile with a widening in the pile heel to strengthen the base soils is considered in the article, aimed at increasing the bearing capacity of the pile in areas of weak soils. The authors analyzed the current experience gained in the construction of piles with widening, however, a previously patented anchor pile with local widening in a zone of weak soils was chosen as the initial option, which can be used mainly in the vertical direction, and in the inclined direction—only at low slopes. Due to the improvement of the device technology and changes in design solutions, a widened anchor pile can also be used on slopes, preventing landslide phenomena. At the same time, it is necessary to note the low-waste and environmental friendliness of the construction production technology; in addition, the structural and technological solutions improvement makes it possible to shorten the duration of work. In general, it is by reducing the duration of work that environmental safety is achieved, as the proposed technology makes it possible to eliminate certain technological processes, reduce the working machines number on the construction site and reduce harmful emissions into the environment. The specificity of an anchor pile with a widener structural solution presented in the study lies in the fact that a metal pipe coated with an anticorrosive material on the outside and some segments of the widener are used as reinforcing structures, which are not removed together with the casing, but remain in the expansion zone and are subsequently rigidly connected to the central pipe during concreting.
