Standard Laparoscopic Pancreatoduodenectomy
摘要
Minimally invasive pancreaticoduodenectomy (MIPD) is an extremely complex procedure and standardization of surgical steps has shown to be of great benefit by different authors. The goal of the study was to describe the most commonly used sequence of surgical steps for MIPD at our institution. Operative reports and surgical videos of patients who underwent MIPD in a 5-year period was reviewed. The order of surgical steps was identical in 87% of patients. A detailed description of the operative technique is presented in this chapter. Standardization of MIPD would make this complex abdominal procedure easier to reproduce and serve as an additional educational tool.
