Robotic Pancreaticoduodenectomy with Vascular Resection and Reconstruction
摘要
The chapter discusses the advancements and challenges in performing robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy with vascular resection for pancreatic cancer. It highlights that while radical resection is essential for curing pancreatic adenocarcinoma, the addition of vascular resection and reconstruction, particularly in a robotic setting, significantly increases the complexity of the surgery. Although venous and arterial resections can be successfully performed robotically, the chapter emphasizes the critical importance of careful patient selection, meticulous preoperative planning, and the necessity of performing these procedures exclusively in high-volume centers with expert surgical teams.
