Imaging of Thyroid Eye Disease
摘要
Cross sectional imaging plays an important role in diagnosis and management of thyroid eye disease. CT can aid in diagnosis and is invaluable for planning of bony orbital decompression. MRI demonstrates soft tissue pathology more clearly and specific sequences can help to objectively assess disease activity. This chapter discusses the pros and cons of different imaging modalities and techniques and illustrates with examples of how imaging findings can be correlated with clinical findings to plan treatment and improve outcomes.
