The chapter also delves into the rehabilitation programs designed for individuals suffering from addiction, providing a thorough analysis of Türkiye’s evolving strategy that combines prevention, treatment, and community-based support. The chapter outlines future recommendations for strengthening Türkiye’s fight against substance abuse. These include increased investment in research, improved coordination between governmental and non-governmental organizations, a stronger emphasis on education and community involvement, and enhanced mental health services. By adopting these measures, Türkiye can further enhance its efforts in creating a healthier and more resilient society.
