The aerospace industry is a vital sector of the Russian economy, ensuring national security, technological sovereignty, and sustainable development of the country. However, in recent years, enterprises in this sector have been facing sanctions restrictions, increasing R&D costs, as well as specific and unique challenges related to the lengthy product development and market launch cycles, dependence on government contracts, and the need to comply with strict quality and safety standards. The work is devoted to the development of tools for shaping a sustainable competitive strategy for the development of aerospace enterprises in modern conditions. The aim of the study is to substantiate tools for forming a sustainable competitive strategy for the development of aerospace enterprises, taking into account contemporary challenges. The authors apply a comprehensive approach, including a theoretical analysis of modern concepts of strategic management, digital transformation, and sustainable development. Methods of system and comparative analysis are applied. The analysis is based on the works of Russian and foreign scholars. The study presents tools for shaping a sustainable competitive strategy that enable aerospace enterprises to enhance their competitiveness by optimizing business processes, reducing costs, and accelerating product market entry. The research findings can be used for strategic planning in aerospace enterprises, as well as in other high-tech industries.
