The object of the study is digital sukuk. The research purpose is to assess the potential of digital sukuk as a tool for digitalization of socio-economic systems for their integration into the global financial architecture, taking into account the requirements of Sharia and modern technological trends. Using such general economic methods as analysis and synthesis, comparison and contrast, logical and systemic approaches, the work investigates three projects for issuing digital sukuk: Marhaba, Sukuk-Token from Indonesia (Project Tokenization) and SukukChain from Malaysia (digital sukuk market). Based on the results of the study, key aspects of the potential of digital sukuk as a tool for digitalization of socio-economic systems for their integration into the global financial architecture, taking into account the requirements of Sharia and modern technological trends are identified. Among them, the most important are: compliance with Sharia requirements, digitalization and integration into global markets, modern technological trends and socio-economic impact. Complying with Shariah requirements and using advanced technologies such as blockchain, smart contracts and artificial intelligence, they have the potential to change the traditional approach to financing and investing, opening up new horizons for Islamic and conventional financial institutions. Unlike previous studies, the focus on the environmental aspects of digital sukuk allows us to go beyond the traditional approach and offer a new perspective on the role of digital sukuk in the context of the modern global agenda.
