In the context of the development of a digital society, the issue of ethical and moral standards for the use of artificial intelligence is becoming more acute. Artificial intelligence has gained recognition in almost all areas of social and economic life. The speed of its distribution and implementation poses such problems as freedom and human rights, protection of privacy, responsibility for possible consequences, etc. The existing problems do not relate to the field of technical support, they relate to social, cultural, value, economic aspects of society. The contribution considers issues of ethical and moral standards for the use of artificial intelligence. The areas of application of artificial intelligence are analyzed, possible risks and threats are identified. The authors formulate proposals on issues of ensuring ethical approaches to the development of artificial intelligence. The basic provisions of the code of ethics of artificial intelligence are defined. In order to systematize the accumulated practical and theoretical experience of using artificial intelligence, an attempt is made to organize this area based on a general system approach. Recommendations are given to solve problems of using artificial intelligence in modern conditions.
