Labor Market Trends in the Age of Transformation
摘要
Each stage of economic development corresponds to a certain employment structure. Digital transformation plays a crucial role in improving living standards, optimizing production cycles, accelerating economic activity, and generating new job opportunities. Digitalization and automation present significant opportunities for the development of the Russian labor market. The research focuses on six regions of the Russian Federation from different federal districts, analyzing data over a ten-year period from 2013 to 2022. The authors used cointegration analysis, which helped identify non-random relationships between socio-demographic characteristics of unemployment and regional digitalization indicators. The findings highlight key challenges and opportunities for developing regional labor markets in the context of the digital transformation of the economy. These insights are valuable for managers and academics engaged in evaluating the effectiveness of regional human potential and enhancing the digital skills of the workforce. The study concluded with practical recommendations for state regional administrations.
