The work investigates applied aspects of development and construction of quality management strategy in educational institution. The interrelation of quality management strategy and competitiveness of educational institution is presented. A typical model of quality assurance and its main components are considered, the structural and logical scheme of the model is presented. The work presents the main stages of building a quality management strategy with step-by-step tasks and activities. The review of the main studies on the subject is carried out. The research purpose is to create a quality management strategy in an educational organization that can ensure effective management on the basis of an integrated approach. The following tasks were solved: determination of the main prerequisites for the development of the strategy of education quality management; formulating the important directions of the strategy of education quality management, allowing the university to hold competitive positions; step-by-step consideration of the process of building a strategy of quality management in an educational institution; consideration and formulation of the essence of the main modern concepts of quality management in education.
