The acceleration of scientific and technological progress, the development of information technology and globalization processes significantly affect modern society and the economy. In the context of the digital economy, there is a need to train a new type of specialists with modern professional competencies. Of particular importance is the problem of innovative development of the digital education sphere, which is becoming a key factor in the success of reforming educational systems. The purpose of the study is to analyze modern trends and prospects for integrating innovative approaches into the digital education system, assessing the advantages and risks of using the latest digital tools in education. To achieve this goal, the following research tasks were formulated: to study the basic concepts and definitions related to innovations in the field of digital education, to analyze foreign and domestic experience in applying innovative methods and technologies in educational work, to identify positive consequences and possible threats arising from the transition to new forms of digital learning, to form practical recommendations and proposals for the effective implementation of innovative solutions in Russian educational practice.
