This work is the result of the research of theoretical and methodical aspects of building an internal system of education quality assessment. The typical model of quality assurance and its main components are considered, the structural and logical scheme of the model is presented. The authors analyze the main models of quality assurance of education that are currently used, list their advantages and disadvantages. The review of modern scientific literature on pedagogy and the topic of the study is carried out. The purpose of this study is to design a model for ensuring the quality of education at the university in modern conditions. The authors consider the main models of education quality assurance, based on the software product proposed by the National Foundation for Support of Innovations in Education module «VIKON. VSOKO». The considered models have their features and advantages. The model presented in this study takes into account the dependence on many factors, including the goals of educational policy, resources and needs. Objectives of this study are: to identify the key components of the model structure, to consider different approaches in forming a model of quality assurance in an educational organization, indicating their advantages and disadvantages. The main elements of the model of education quality assurance, providing the competitiveness of the educational organization, are the development strategy, educational process management system, continuous monitoring and quality assessment, development of scientific and pedagogical staff and personnel, availability of feedback from consumers of educational services, infrastructure and resources, social responsibility.
