The data obtained in numismatic studies contribute significantly to archaeological studies. For this reason, we aimed to evaluate the coins in the inventory of the Çanakkale Archaeological Museum in our studies carried out to identify Byzantine settlements in the valleys reaching the Hellespont and to understand settlement patterns. In our studies for this purpose, 1240 coins in relatively good condition and whose period can be determined were evaluated.
