In addition to common physical signs that have been described in anterior shoulder dislocation, such as prominence of the acromion, an additional sign is described with photographic illustration. Various other ‘tidbits’ for joints are also discussed in this chapter, including the importance of understanding the displacement in slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) of the hip joint and lateral talar shift in ankle fractures.
