The global fitness market is growing at an accelerated pace, driven by factors such as the size of the global fitness population, increased health awareness, increased participation in fitness activities, increased opportunities to participate in fitness activities, increased fitness spending and the increased availability of sports products, including fitness chair services. Among them, China’s fitness market is approximately US$786.6 million, accounting for 15.43% of the total global market size. China’s fitness population (those who participate in fitness more than twice a week) is about 303 million, and the future market prospect is promising. Based on fitness chairs, the researcher proposed virtual reality (VR) technology tools to enable virtual sales of fitness chairs, facilitate virtual meeting sales without spatial and geographical restrictions and develop a new immersive fitness model that aims to reduce the aesthetic fatigue in fixed environments, ultimately enhancing training performance. This study employed qualitative research and data analysis to assess the fitness of the proposed new model through pilot sampling, utilising an experiential and evaluative approach. The results received positive feedback from the population, proving that this new model goal of virtual meeting sales and immersive fitness based on chair-based virtual sales, without spatial and geographical limitations, can be an alternative to improve the health and purchasing power of the fitness population.

摘要
