As a key step toward autonomous driving, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) utilize vehicle sensors to perceive surroundings and assist driver control. This article examines consumer experiences with ADAS in new energy vehicles through a survey of 843 users in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, analyzing key perception factors such as usefulness, convenience, quality, and risk. It objectively evaluates industry challenges in cybersecurity, sensor integration, and algorithmic complexity, while exploring industry-driven influences on consumer adoption. The study reveals that perceived risk and technical limitations significantly hinder satisfaction, and provides strategic insights for enhancing system reliability and accelerating the commercialization of intelligent connected vehicles.
