The Impact of Financial Technology Innovation on New Quality Productive Forces

The research presented in this paper utilizes a sample comsisting of panel data for 30 provinces in China covering the period from 2012 to 2022, This paper conducts an empirical analysis to examine the repercussions of financial technology innovation on new quality productive forces from an empirical perspective. The outcomes demonstrate that the progress of sci-tech finance is conducive to nurturing New Types of Productivity. This conclusion still remains valid after a sequence of robustness tests, including replacing measurement methods, winsorizing, and excluding special samples. The heterogeneity analysis shows that, in comparison with the Mid-Western Regions, the promotional repercussion of science and technology finance on new quality productivity is more pronounced in the eastern region. In response to this, policy suggestions such as strengthening fin – tech capital investment and formulating differentiated regional development measures are proposed. The findings are expected to offer insights for promoting the growth of emerging productivity paradigms.
