This article mainly focuses on the various supply chain management practices adopted by the textile industry. A broader variety of activities are encompassed in supply chain management such as order fulfillment, inventory control, warehousing, material handling and packaging. The rising of demand in both domestic and global markets is creating up new potential for the Indian textile sector. India ranks among top global leading hubs for textile manufacture. Raw materials, complements and apparel production are all components of the textile industry’s long chain. We have applied Simple Random Sampling technique to select the sample for the study. A total of 429 sample respondents were selected and the collected data was analyzed using simple percentage analysis, and factor analysis from the collected data. This research contributes to academic understanding and provides actionable insights for various supply chain practice adopted by textile sector.
