Strategic Insights: SWOT Analysis of Myntra and Meesho in India

The Internet is a global computer network that allows people and places to connect and integrates services and resources that make life easier. Now, the Internet is a component of the day-to-day operations of all businesses. Business is the activity of buying and selling goods and services. The Internet is important in stores and retail businesses because it enables sales and orders to be placed online. When a business activity is performed utilizing the Internet, it is called a digital platform. A digital platform is an efficient alternative to augmenting existing web business and boosting capital from Information Technology advancement. This is a case study of two large e-retailers in India Myntra and Meesho using SWOT analysis. This study of Myntra and one of its closest competitor Meesho reveals the different strategies that Myntra uses to gain competitive advantage in the ecommerce industry and the range of Myntra’s opportunities in India. By analysing their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, this study will provide more insights for the long-run growth of these two platforms.
