Sustainable Mental Health Practices in Business Classrooms: Exploring Key Factors and Their Impact on Student Well-Being
摘要
This research investigates the key factors contributing to sustainable mental health practices in business classrooms focusing on the interplay between the variables academic pressure, social support, family support, and stress. Mental health issues have become a pressing concern in the academic environments especially in business classrooms that are prone to high performance demands, expecting the best out of students. This research made use of primary data collected from the undergraduate and postgraduate students through structured questionnaires. The findings of this study revealed that support from the family and peers significantly defends against the mental health challenges, nurturing resilience, and emotional wellbeing. On the contrary, academic pressure was identified as the major factor down turning the mental wellbeing of the students, making them experience escalated levels of stress leading to decreased academic performance. This research highlights the importance of implementing sustainable mental health practices through targeted interventions such as counseling services, peer support systems, and stress management practices to eliminate the adverse effects of stress in the academic setting. By understanding the dynamics of these variables, this research offers actionable insights for educators to create a more healthy, supportive, and mentally flourishing learning environment in business classrooms.
