The path toward digital transformation in higher education is challenging due to numerous human resource, and organizational obstacles encountered along the way. In this study, the barriers, as well as how they connect and affect each other, are analyzed using Modified Total Interpretive Structural Modeling (M-TISM) and MICMAC Analysis. A comprehensive literature review, incorporating insights from specialists, resulted in the identification of ten significant barriers. The analysis found that these barriers were interlinked, indicating the need for targeted responses—including skills development programs, strategic planning, and change management guided by leadership. The findings provide valuable insights for higher education institutions to develop strategies to overcome these obstacles and foster a culture of more adaptive collaboration. This study contributes to existing knowledge on digital transformation, offering valuable insights for managers and policymakers addressing challenges in higher education.

摘要
