Mardatillah Dynamic Goal Orientation (MDGO) in Mediating the Influence of Employee Commitment Dimensions on Career Development in Indonesia

The aim of this research is to determine employee activities which can be seen from the awards received in the form of career advancement. Career advancement is an achievement and reward for employees who have contributed to the company based on their abilities in accordance with the goal orientation to be achieved. Every employee who has good performance will influence the overall performance of the organization. Achieving goals for each employee based on quality of work, good abilities, not influenced by other people’s perceptions in achieving achievements, goals using the Mardatillah Dynamic Goal Orientation (MDGO) approach, so that the results obtained have more good meaning so that employees work well with methods in accordance with Islamic values and always committed to the goals to be achieved. Setting clear goals will provide direction for each individual or employee in achieving their career goals. The methodology in this research uses data analysis calculated using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) structural equation test. All variable indicators are made into a questionnaire and then distributed to employees. To facilitate sampling and in accordance with SEM criteria, 100–200 questionnaire results were taken randomly. Researchers refer to (Loehlin, in Latent Variable Models: An Introduction to Factor, Path, and Structural Analysis, 3rd edn. Lawrence Erlbaum Associates Publishers, 1998.) which suggests that the minimum sample that reduces bias in SEM estimates is 200.
