Occupying diverse forms and purposes, the concept of networks has traversed several disciplines. Evolving significantly from their origins in describing biological systems to their application in understanding social structures and power dynamics, networks cover numerous domains and are especially useful in providing an understanding of large, interacting entities. This chapter explores the multifaceted nature of network power, drawing on theoretical perspectives from scholars such as Albert-László Barabási, Manuel Castells, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, and Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri. By examining network power in the context of geopolitics, education, and the biodigital realm, the chapter provides a comprehensive understanding of how networks shape global relations and influence societal dynamics in a multipolar world. Through theoretical analysis and real-world examples, the chapter sheds light on the complexities of network power and its implications for contemporary societies.

摘要
