This chapter introduces the concept of postdigital Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its main challenges, arguing that postdigital education increasingly requires geopolitical analysis. It explores the rapidly changing meaning of postdigital geopolitics in an increasingly multifaceted and interconnected world that has shifted from traditional territorial considerations to include the development of network interconnectivity based on the new digital technologies and economic, technological, environmental, and even extraterrestrial dimensions. Following a brief overview of geophilosophy and geopedagogy, the chapter develops a postdigital view to geopolitics, with a focus on the geopolitics of postdigital educational development that follows the shift in meaning and reality from territories to networks and to rival world systems.
