This work aims to study the mooring line axial forces of eight floating wind turbines. From this perspective, this paper will compare the mooring line axial forces of the different floating wind turbines under nine different wind and wave environmental conditions. The floating wind turbines studied in this paper are two spar buoys, five semi-submersibles and one TLP. This paper also provides a study of the displacements of the different mooring lines under different wind and wave environmental conditions. An additional analysis covering torsional moment will only be provided for the TLP floating wind turbine. This is due to its negligible values for the other floating wind concepts.

摘要
