As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly embedded across societal and professional domains, AI literacy has emerged as a global educational priority. National and international policy initiatives underscore a growing consensus through executive orders and national plans equipping all individuals with the knowledge and critical capacity to engage with AI is essential for fostering equitable, ethical, and future-ready societies. Therefore, we propose the first International Workshop on AI Literacy Education for All (ALIT4ALL), aims to advance research and practice on AI literacy education for non-technical learners, including K–12 students, educators across disciplines, and workforce professionals. By convening researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry stakeholders, the workshop seeks to address persistent challenges such as limited teacher preparation, inaccessible learning resources, fragmented upskilling programs, and the absence of validated assessment frameworks. Key topics include the design and evaluation of AI literacy curricula, professional development models for educators, inclusive pedagogical strategies, and innovative assessment methodologies. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, this workshop aims to generate actionable insights and strategies for equipping all learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate an AI-driven world and contributing to the global effort to democratize AI understanding and participation across diverse educational and professional contexts.
